As one of the things we love (and crave) the most, especially when we are lacking in energy is chocolate. So I thought it would be helpful to share 10 delicious chocolate treats under 150 calories that can be used for dessert or to swap one of your higher calorie chocolate snacks for.

One of the most common things I notice on client's food diaries are the amount of little sweet snacks that are eaten throughout the day that really crank up the calories. Now of course it would be easy to say "swap them for some fruit" but lets face it, that's just not realistic, if you really fancy some chocolate, fruit is never going to satisfy that craving and if you deprive yourself too much you will just end up binging on the nearest packet of biscuits. So below I have listed some lower calorie chocolate treats that you can have as an alternative to your higher calorie versions....but remember calories mount up easily so don't have too many and save your sugary snacks for when you know you crave them the most such as mid-afternoon or after dinner in the evening and try to be healthier the rest of the day.
